Please be informed that since June 01, 2021, in accordance with the requirements of the Regulation on the card instrument, approved by the National Bank of Georgia by Order № 155/04 of September 2, 2020, plastic card payment transactions have been restricted in high risk merchants, in particular:
- Gambling;
- Charities;
- Political organizations;
- Financial services (e-wallet, cryptocurrency, money orders, etc.).
Restrictions may be removed at the time of handing the plastic card to the customer wholy or partly, as well as at any time, with the consent of the user.
Holders of plastic cards, who made their cards before June 1, 2021 have the opportunity to fix the relevant request in the bank, to restrict card payment transactions at high risk objects at any time.
